Hazlewoods name Scoo-B-Doo as this year's fundraising charity
22nd September 2017
Hazlewoods chartered accountants has chosen Scoo-B-Doo, supporting neonatal care at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital, as their charity for the next 12 months.
Scoo-B-Doo raises funds to provide equipment and essential items in caring for sick and premature babies from Gloucestershire and beyond.
More than 80 per cent of the equipment used every day has been funded by Scoo-B-Doo, helping to ensure the babies are given the best possible care.
As ever, employees of the Gloucester-based company are rising to the challenge of finding ways to raise money for their chosen charity of the year.
So far this year, director Suzanne Headington completed the Arena Chill Swim Coniston 5.25 mile end-to-end swim in 3.13 hours, raising more than £1,300 for her efforts - just one example of the many employees who stretch themselves to raise money for others.
John Lucas, partner of Hazlewoods social committee, said "We are delighted with how our staff strive to give back to the community each year. We have a long track record of raising significant funds for local charities and we are pleased to help Scoo-B-Doo in 2017."
