Hazlewoods appoints three new partners

Gloucestershire-based accountancy firm Hazlewoods has announced the appointment of three new associate partners - Ian Johnson, Nigel Utting and Ryan Hancock.

Ian Johnson has more than 20 years' experience and specialises in advising law firms on compliance, business management, auditing and accounting matters. He also has a detailed knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules and regularly presents courses on Accounts Rules compliance, law firm profitability and management reporting.

Nigel Utting is part of the Hazlewoods dental team and has more than 25 years' experience acting for a mixture of owner-managed businesses, providing advice ranging from routine matters such as annual accounts and tax compliance, to incorporation and business acquisitions/disposals.

Ryan Hancock has more than 30 years' experience of dealing with corporate clients, many of which are owner managed, and several AIM and fully listed clients. This includes performing audit and accounts preparation work but also covers a wider range of tax and business advisory services.

He is a part of the Hazlewoods Corporate Services team, continually in demand due to a growing and successful local economy.

The business said these three key promotions support its recent growth across their sector and service specialisms, including legal, dental and audit, and aim to also reflect their strategy for continuous growth firm wide.

Hazlewoods managing partner, Jon Cartwright, said: "Ian, Nigel and Ryan were already part of Hazlewoods and have a wealth of experience in working with clients in their specialised sectors. We are very pleased to have them as part of our firm so we can continue to build on the great work we do both regionally and nationally."
