Hazlewoods announces impressive promotions

Investing in development and accelerating careers has long been a focus of Hazlewoods Accountants and Business Advisers.

Their recent announcement confirms this commitment to their people. From 1 May, the Gloucestershire-based firm announced an impressive 52 promotions, including six advancing to partner and six new directors.

The firm has congratulated new partners:

  • Andy Hogarth (financial planning)
  • James Whittaker (corporate finance)
  • Jemma Vaughan (corporate tax)
  • Rachel Vines (veterinary specialist)
  • Rhiannon Hooper (business solutions - SME specialist)
  • Richard Medes (pharmacy specialist)

Furthermore, Hazlewoods was pleased to welcome two new partners from outside the firm in April, boosting total partner numbers to 42.

Corporate finance professional Dan Bond joins from BDO Bristol office, specialising in the tech sector; and specialist in the farms and estates sector, Ursula Bryars, made the move to Hazlewoods from Saffery Champness towards the end of the month.

HR director Sue Golding said: "Having launched our refreshed internal talent development programme across the firm in 2022, it has been so pleasing to see so many senior people embrace the opportunity to develop their skills and progress their careers.

"We offer a really clear and supportive 'Pathway to Partner' scheme, which many ambitious individuals appreciate; and we are equally committed to supporting people at whatever level they want to achieve, which is evident from the promotions across the firm."

Managing partner Jon Cartwright added: "The number of promotions this year has been fantastic and I would like to formally thank everyone for their hard work and dedication, which really contributes to making Hazlewoods the great place to work that it is. All promotions are thoroughly well-deserved and we are very proud to be able to support our colleagues' ambitions."
