Hazlewoods Corporate Finance team has successfully advised on the sale of a leading UK electrical component supplier to an international company.

The accountancy firm with offices in Cheltenham and Staverton advised on the sale of Specialised Wiring Accessories Ltd (SWA) which was founded in 1988 and initially traded from a portable office in Gloucestershire.

Over more than three decades, it has grown to be one of the UK's most successful and trusted sellers of electrical fittings and tools, stocking more than 8,000 products, employing 54 people, and operating from 50,000 sq. ft. premises in Wootton under Edge.

Founding Directors, Brian Hands and Garry Ray, have continually developed innovative new products to give SWA the edge over its competitors.

The company has been acquired by Shoal Group, part of FTSE 250 company Diploma plc, and a supplier of cable products and accessories to more than 53 countries worldwide.
