Have your say on budget strategy in the Cotswolds

Cotswold District Council is asking businesses and local people to have their say on its budget strategy.

The council is updating its medium term financial plan and spending plans for 2018/19. It has prepared a draft four-year financial strategy, which takes into account reductions in its funding from central government and other changes which will have a financial impact on the council. Full details are available here .

This document sets out the key points of the budget proposals for 2018/19 and the council would welcome feedback, which will then be considered at its budget meeting.

The budget strategy will be considered at the full council meeting on 20th February. The deadline for commenting on the proposals is 5pm on 19th January.

Businesses and residents can provide feedback in a number of ways:

  • Filling in the online consultation on budget and corporate strategies 2018/19
  • Emailing your views to budgetconsultation@cotswold.gov.uk
  • Sending written comments to: Mrs Jenny Poole, Chief Finance Officer at Cotswold District Council, Trinity Road, Cirencester, Glos, GL7 1PX
