Director honoured for work in county

Sean Sullivan Gibbs, a director of Cheltenham-based Hanscomb Intercontinental, has been made a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors.

This recognition by his peers of his outstanding contributions to the civil engineering industry globally follows his being called to the Bar of England by the Middle Temple in 2017.

He is among a few of the leading international construction law consultants in the world holding both multiple legal and construction qualifications.

Sean Gibbs said: "As someone with strong connections to Cheltenham it's an honour to be recognised for the work I have undertaken in the town and county over the last 30 years on projects such as the Waitrose redevelopment in Cheltenham, Javelin Park in Gloucester, Gloucester and Ashville Business Parks."

Sean already held Fellowships with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Chartered Institute of Building prior to this.
