Gym ready to roll in former Cheltenham car showroom

Reconditioning and improvements to bodywork will take on a slightly different meaning at a former car showroom in Cheltenham.

The former Warners Group showroom on Blaisdon Way is being turned into a gym after planning consent was given for a change of use on the site.

Cheltenham-based chartered surveyors acted on behalf of landlords Warners Trust PLC to lease the premises to énergie Fitness.

Richard Knightley of KBW said: "énergie Fitness has taken a lease of the modern purpose-built showroom, which occupies a landscaped riverside location close to Tewkesbury Road.

"With its fully glazed elevations on three sides, feature entrance, open plan floors which include a first floor mezzanine overlooking the ground floor and a large car park, the premises are ideally suited to a gym use."

A rapidly growing fitness club brand, énergie Fitness has over 100,000 members with its aim to make clubs accessible to all.

KBW provided advice and support to the owner of this commercial property throughout the process, from our initial first inspection to looking at the various potential uses.

The worked through the planning process to achieving a successful outcome and concluding the letting to énergie Fitness.
