Smart Home Sounds, the Gloucester-based smart speaker retailer, has moved to new, purpose-designed headquarters.
The new premises at Triangle Park, Metz Way, Gloucester have been designed and the fit-out managed by Andy Hazell, the company's MD and founder.
Smart Home Sounds, which in September 2019 reported a growth of 100 per cent over two years and an annual turnover of £3 million, stocks ranges by Sonos, Bluesound, Kef, Bowers & Wilkins and Marshall.
At the new headquarters, the smartly lit staircase leads to the main open plan office area, housing marketing, customer service and finance. The scheme features plenty of plants, especially chosen to help filter the air and low emission white light task lighting, as well as vaulted ceilings, neon lightboxes and the very latest in AV and audio throughout.
Andy Hazell, MD of Smart Home Sounds, said: "Moving into these new headquarters marks an important milestone for Smart Home Sounds. We finally have the space we need to grow the business and I'm proud of the creative innovative workspace we've created. The opportunities for creativity are endless, so I'm looking forward to seeing what the future brings in our beautiful new home."
The two-storey headquarters boasts a state-of-the-art showroom for creating content to demonstrate how products can be set up and used in customers' own homes. This will be used alongside a dedicated filming area, so the marketing team can create their popular and informative online content.
Smart Homes Sounds differentiates from other retailers by offering customer support in the form of online tutorials and vlogs on its You Tube channel and website, to help customers find the right product, as well as installation help and general tips and hints.
