Outdoor brand to open at The Brewery Quarter

A leading outdoor brand will be filling the space left by Wilko at The Brewery Quarter in Cheltenham.

GO Outdoors, part of the JD Outdoors group, will be taking 20,000 square feet of retail space at the centre.

Due to the substantial size of the new unit, GO Outdoors, which also has a store in Gloucester, will be able to offer a broader range of outdoor gear, clothing and equipment under one roof.

Lee Bagnall, GO Outdoors CEO, said: "We are thrilled to be opening our new store at The Brewery Quarter. This move allows us to provide an even greater range of products and services to our customers in Cheltenham.

"We believe that the new location, with its fantastic facilities and focus on leisure, is an ideal fit for our brand and supports our purpose of 'inspiring and equipping everyone for life outdoors'. We look forward to becoming an integral part of the community here."

Dominic Brady, partner of letting agent KLM Real Estate, said: "The Brewery Quarter has become an exceptional destination, and we're delighted to welcome GO Outdoors to this prime High Street location. Their commitment to offering a comprehensive range of outdoor products complements the existing retail, leisure and fitness venues perfectly, creating an even more attractive destination for visitors."

Nikki Kontarines, director of Martin Commercial Properties, managing agent of The Brewery Quarter, said: "We are excited to welcome GO Outdoors to The Brewery Quarter. Their presence enhances our offering and underscores our dedication to promoting a vibrant, active lifestyle. With GO Outdoors joining our mix of retailers, fitness and entertainment venues, their addition means the scheme is now 99% let and helps make us the premier destination for leisure and entertainment in Cheltenham."

GO Outdoors is set to open later this year.
