Gloucestershire software firm expands into Africa

Cheltenham-based CloudTamers has won two significant new deals in Africa which has enabled it to roll its Lease Management for NetSuite into a new continent.

Johannesburg based C-GES runs the largest volume of student accommodation in the Southern hemisphere through its Citiq brand. Offering students accommodation, lifestyle and community in residencies based in Pretoria, Johannesburg and Nelspruit. The business has recently concluded a CloudTamers NetSuite Finance implementation.

CloudTamers will be enhancing C-GES' NetSuite finance system by adding lease management capability which will enable the booking of accommodation and services. They will also be using the SuiteApp to manage commercial properties.

In Kenya, the Nairobi-based Sarit shopping centre has commissioned CloudTamers and NetSuite to handle the finance and lease management of their retail units. The immensely popular centre was opened in 1983 and was the first large shopping mall of its kind in the Nairobi community. Today it serves the public with shopping and food outlets, whilst the business community can benefit from office space and commercial property leasing.

CloudTamers said its Lease Management for NetSuite will handle the "everything under one roof" service through parent and child space records, automated invoicing and billing forecast report automation.

CEO of CloudTamers, Nick Eden added: "CloudTamers has been importing its products for a number of years. Our popular HR for NetSuite is used around the globe, from LA to Moscow. Our newer software, Lease Management for NetSuite is gaining traction in the Middle East and Africa and it's our absolute pleasure to be able to implement into these two well established and well-respected businesses."

"We are receiving an unprecedented number of enquiries from Canada so we really hope it won't be long until we are exporting our Lease Management software into the Canadian market too."
