Police were called to Park Street at around 9.20pm on Saturday, April 1, with a report that an unknown man had climbed through a window which was ajar at a property and been disturbed by an occupant.

The victim confronted the man, who asked for money, and he was told to leave. The victim was not threatened or injured in the ordeal, but shaken up by what had happened.

The man was described as being white and in his early 20s. He was wearing a black hoody and black shiny tracksuit bottoms which had a white stripe down the leg.

Nothing was reported to have been stolen during the incident.
