CCTV appeal after woman injured during nightclub assault

Officers investigating an altercation at a Cheltenham nightclub have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify.

Police received a report that a man had thrown a cup during an altercation with a group of people. The cup hit an unrelated woman in the head, causing a wound which required medical treatment.

The assault took place at a venue on Regent Street at around 1:30am on Sunday, June 15.

Officers have conducted a number of enquiries since the incident, but are yet to identify the man pictured, and are now asking for information from the public.

Anyone who recognises the man pictured or has information about what happened is asked to contact police through the website, quoting CR/23936/25.
