Police have charged a man with the murder of a 67-year-old woman in Cheltenham on Saturday (August 31).

Charles Graham, aged 77 and of Fairfield Road, Cheltenham, will appear at Cheltenham Magistrates' Court on Tuesday morning (September 3).

The charge relates to an incident that took place over the weekend, when emergency services were called to a report of a woman who had been seriously injured at a property on Fairfield Road at around 3.30am.
