Newland Homes appoints new contracts manager

Jason Knight joins Newland Homes as contracts manager, taking on a role he describes as his 'forever job.'

Jason joins Newland Homes from Bellway, where he was construction manager for the housebuilder's developments across the South West.

With an extensive background in residential construction, Jason will strengthen the connection between Newland Homes' site teams and its head office. He takes the reins from Dale Martin who recently retired.

Jason Knight, contracts manager for Newland Homes said: "Newland Homes has a great reputation within the industry for its quality product and respectful working practices. Staff turnover is extremely low and there's a constancy of management that you don't see at other housebuilders. A friend joked that you only get to work at Newland Homes if somebody retires! This is my forever job and I'm looking forward to getting stuck into the projects."

31% of Newland Homes' employees have worked with the company for 10 years or more. One of those is Ian Hughes, associate construction director. Ian has been with Newland Homes for 15 years and added: "We singled out Jason as we knew he would be a great fit for the team."

Newland Homes is a climate considerate housebuilder, established in 1991. The company has eight developments underway across North Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, and Bristol. Its pioneering zero carbon homes use renewable technologies for heat and power.
