Gloucestershire gym counting the days to delayed opening

The next easing of the coronavirus restrictions cannot come soon enough for a Gloucester fitness centre as it prepares to open its doors for the first time.

Pure Gym was due to open its 15,000sq ft facility at Kingsway Retail and Leisure Park last year only to be delayed by the pandemic.

But with gyms due to be allowed to open later this month, gym manager Jade Adlam is looking forward to welcoming new members from April 14.

She said: "We're so excited to be opening this fantastic new gym in such an up-and-coming area.

"We will be offering affordable, no-contract memberships. Everybody is welcome and we can't wait to open our doors."

The retail pack is has been developed by Gloucestershire developers Robert Hitchins with a B&M home store with garden centre and Lidl opening late last year.
