Two county garage businesses are up for awards at the industry event Automechanika Birmingham this week.
Cheltenham-based independent garage, Cleevely Motors, owned by Claire Cleevely, has been shortlisted in the category 'Technology Innovation' while Cheltenham & Gloucester Autocentre, also based in Cheltenham and owned by Martyn Longbridge, has been selected for the final line-up in the 'Best Large Garage' category.
Both businesses are in the running for the prestigious 'Garage of the Year' award.
There are six categories in total, and the winner of each category will be decided by a judging panel of automotive industry experts, due to be announced at an evening dinner to be held at The Director's Club, Aston Villa FC today.
The overall Garage of the Year winner will then be announced at Automechanika Birmingham on 6 June from these six category winners.
Simon Albert, managing director of Automechanika Birmingham said: "We've received an extremely high amount of entries this year and we've got a fantastic group of garages in the mix, reflecting the diversity of garage businesses operating successfully throughout the UK by tailoring their services to meet local demand."
