Gloucestershire executive jet firm busier than ever

An executive jet company, based at Gloucestershire Airport, is expanding its operation.

The Little Jet Company has added another aircraft to its fleet and now has a base at a third UK airport.

The company enjoyed its busiest summer on record with passengers who had never booked a private jet before travelling with them.

Jason Bishop, director, said: "We are delighted to say that we are continuing to grow. The signs are that we are going from strength to strength, and we are feeling optimistic about the future."

The Little Jet Company has opened a new base at Brighton City Airport, offering a luxury service for business and leisure clients. This is in addition to its bases at Gloucestershire Airport and at Bournemouth Airport. The company has taken delivery of an eight seat King Air 200 which will be based at Brighton City Airport.

Jason said: "Opening a base at a third airport is a significant milestone for The Little Jet Company. We are also pleased to welcome a new crew on board."

Brighton City Airport, also commonly known as Shoreham Airport, was founded in 1910. It is a major base for flying activities on the south coast and for those conducting business in the South East of England. It provides an entry and departure point for Western Europe and the Channel Islands with easy access to Gatwick Airport, London and the rest of the UK.

The Little Jet Company is run by Jason Bishop and Barry Preece who met at school. They provide services including privately-owned jets for charter, management of aircraft, and ground handling services.
