Gloucestershire estate agent expands

County-based estate and lettings agent Move has acquired premises in Worcester City Centre to open a third office.

The office at 7 Reindeer Court is currently being refurbished after being vacant for some time. The refurbishment hopes to rejuvenate the historic neglected building, restoring it to its former glory.

Move was established by George Tatham-Losh in 2013 and claims to be one of the region's fastest growing property sales and lettings agencies.

The business already has two offices, one in Cheltenham, which moved to new retail premises in 2020 in order to reflect its growth, and one in Gloucester which was opened in the Spring of 2018.

"We have been very active in Gloucestershire right from day one and have increasingly found we have been receiving enquiries and instructions from outside the county," said Mr Tatham-Losh.

"We felt the time was right now to expand further and establish a significant presence in Worcester with these new premises. Whilst the digital side to our business is important, we recognise the importance of personal service and the importance many people place on an agent having a local office in their area. The Worcester market is very strong and we foresee there being some great opportunities both for the property sales and lettings side to the business.

"We are a big believer in supporting the local market in which we operate. We will be looking to recruit new agents from the city and the surrounding area and we are using local contractors for the refurbishment.

"We are very much looking forward to bringing our distinctly different offering to more people in the area. In an industry that is not always the first you think of when it comes to quality customer service, we are fiercely proud of the fact that we are the region's most rated and highest rated agent. These are real reviews from real people and our reputation for service is also reflected in the fact that more than 80 per cent of our business comes via recommendation."

Move are registered with the Lettings industry body ARLA and the business's philosophy is to under promise and over deliver, to produce great results through excellent service.

Mr Tatham-Losh added: "We have now well and truly established ourselves in our home county of Gloucestershire and have an exciting growth plan. We are very much looking forward to the opening of the new Worcester office and see this as a stepping stone to further expansion and, when the time is right, more offices in the counties bordering Gloucestershire."

The new premises will open in May.
