Key figures from businesses which will help shape the future of Gloucestershire and beyond are currently in talks at Punchline and Moose Marketing's headquarters.

After sponsoring an earlier gathering of the Gloucestershire Development Professionals group, staged back in May at the Brewhouse and Kitchen at Gloucester Quays, Punchline decided now it was time to play host to the group.

If you are reading this as it is delivered by our Punchline Daily emails business news letter at 1pm, then the gathering is on-going - ideas and being exchanged, friendships made, and the future of the county possibly being shaped.

And as is fast becoming a tradition at Punchline and Moose's Pizza, Parle and Peroni gathering - we are laying on the food and drink for all.

Kate Da-Costa-Greaves, senior associate at Gloucester Quays' headquartered Quattro Design Architects, and a member of the GDP group, said: "The networking event has been set up to enable like-minded Development Professionals with links to the City, build relationships and promote the future of the local Property and Construction industry in Gloucestershire.

"It is an informal event where all members from various sectors within the Construction Development Industry can get together on an equal platform without fees or joining a club with a single focus.

"The last event was attended by a range of professions including employers agents, architects, surveyors, planning consultants, land agents, engineers, contractors and other specialist consultants.

"We offer opportunities for companies to sponsor an event and showcase themselves and in turn therefore we all take ownership of the event, ensuring its success."
