Law firm soiree raises funds for charity

Customers, clients, friends, partners and a much-loved charity gathered for drinks courtesy of one of Gloucestershire's full-service law firms.
Although long-established in Gloucester the firm Davey Law is possibly best known for its Cirencester headquarters.
But to its many clients and customers its city office, off Great Western Road, has long also been a port of call with the firm's time line placing it once upon a time in offices in historic Bearland House in the centre of Gloucester.
Peter Davies, a solicitor and director of the business, said: "This is our annual drinks event, and excuse to get together with the professional community of Gloucester and our friends in business and say thank you."
Special guest was also the law firm's chosen charity, Gloucester-based Headway, which helps support people with brain injuries.
"It is such a worthwhile charity. Head injuries can be very subtle injuries, people sometimes don't even realise when they have acquired one - but the charity is there to support them and help," said Mr Davies, who is also a trustee at Headway.
Vikki Triffitt, a community links advisor, and manager Ali Hendley, both from Headway, were at the event, which also raised funds for the charity.
Davey Law is a full-service law firm covering everything from commercial and agricultural property, employment law, company and commercial, commercial disputes, insolvency and liquidations to residential property, divorce and dissolution, pre and post nuptial agreements, court of protection and deputyships, elderly client care and contentious probate.
It also handles wills, probate and estate administration, powers of attorney, dispute resolution, clinical negligence and personal injury claims.
