Gloucestershire Cricket to host England v Pakistan ODI

Gloucestershire Cricket has announced it will host an England and Pakistan one-day international game at The Brightside Ground.

Pakistan will be England's first opponents of the home international season next year with the team's tour featuring five Royal London One-Day Internationals and a Vitality IT20.

All of which comes as both countries prepare for the ICC Cricket World Cup which starts on May 30 2019 with England taking on South Africa.

The Brightside Ground is establishing itself as a popular venue for one day cricket, most recently selling out the England v India IT20 within two weeks of going on sale.

Will Brown, chief executive officer for Gloucestershire Cricket, said, "We are looking forward to hosting a full calendar of international cricket in 2019 and it's great to be able to kick the programme of with England v Pakistan in May.

"The announcement today comes only two weeks after we hosted a very successful England v India IT20 match, and we are confident that we will put on another great show for fans when England and Pakistan come to Bristol next year."

Tickets will go on public sale for this fixture on October 10, 2018. The game will take place on Tuesday, May 14.

Priority access to tickets will be available to Gloucestershire members and to previous international ticket buyers.
