Gloucestershire company marks growth with office expansion

Gloucestershire-based home surveys specialist, GB Home Surveys, has expanded into new 1,000 sq ft commercial premises.

The company has moved to Maisemore near Gloucester, after accelerating growth by 300%.

Originally established as Gooch and Burley Chartered Surveyors in April 1992, GB Home Surveys was acquired by surveyor, James Quinn, in 2016, and is now a leading residential property survey provider.

When he took over the business, James decided to reposition and establish a credible surveying brand. He changed the name to GB Home Surveys and made it accessible to customers looking to buy a new home or investment property.

GB Home Surveys has expanded its target area over the last five years and now services customers throughout the West Midlands, South Wales, Oxford and the South West.

Over this time, the business has grown by 300% and staff numbers have increased from five to 16.

To mark its growth, GB Home Surveys has relocated from its original office above Steve Gooch Estate Agents in Newent to the new office at The Steadings Business Centre in Maisemore.

James Quinn, managing director, said: "Over the last six years, the team and I have worked incredibly hard to really establish the GB Home Surveys brand as a home survey provider of choice, particularly across our target regions.

"We know that survey reports can be scary with lots of long and complicated jargon, which is why we take pride in ensuring the process is as stress-free as possible for the home buyer.

"I am excited to see what the next six years bring."

GB Home Surveys delivers Home Survey Levels 1, 2 and 3 - with buyers able to decide which is right for their requirements using its instant online quoting tool.

GB Home Surveys is able to provide RICS-accredited, Help to Buy, Shared Ownership, Shared Equity Loan and Staircasing Valuations. The company is an RICS member, and all team members are RICS registered valuers.
