Gloucester firm makes leap into the Asian market

A Gloucester-based company is celebrating after agreeing a distribution deal in Asia.

Hardwicke-based sports nutrition and supplement specialist Nutrition X have signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Hong Kong headquartered Streamline Sports.

Streamline Sports, who provide specialist sports supplies and equipment have supply deals with multiple top-level club partners in the region.

That offering will now include Nutrition X's full-range of informed-Sport accredited products thanks to the new deal.

James Markey, Managing Director of Nutrition X, said: "It goes without saying that we're thrilled to be making our first foray into the Asian market having established some fantastic club partnerships, as well as a solid consumer customer base, here in the UK.

"Streamline Sports seemed like the perfect fit as distribution partners from the start, understanding how important our focuses on nutrition, clean sport and quality supplements are to our business, and we were more than happy to enter into an exclusive distribution agreement with them for the Hong Kong market.

As part of the agreement, Nutrition X's products have already been taken on by top-level clubs in Hong Kong, including Hong Kong Football Association, The Hong Kong Sports Institute and Valley Forte Rugby Club.
