VIDEO Glos Lift Off: Event giving hope says Richard Graham

Richard Graham said he hoped the Gloucestershire Jobs, Skills and Apprenticeship Lift Off would help people get ahead of the curve in an employment "tsunami".

And talking to Punchline-Gloucester.com editor Mark Owen at the Kingsholm event which he organised, the Gloucester MP said he wanted to "offer the young some hope and some opportunity".

Mr Graham said: "We are the first county in the country to try to get this Lift Off going when we are going to face a crisis of employment very soon.

"My reason for doing it now is it is better to be ahead of the curve. I wanted to do this early so people can start focusing and thinking about this now."
