Gloucestershire Engineering Training (GET) is holding an apprenticeship recruitment evening for post GCSE & A-Level opportunities.

This free event is being held at Barnwood Point, Gloucester on 29th January.

GET has been providing work-based learning in engineering for over 40 years. Joining GET on an apprenticeship means developing unrivalled skills in mechanical, electrical, maintenance, welding and fabrication.

GET are hosting this event to provide students, parents/carers and teachers the opportunity to explore all of the engineering apprenticeships available within the county. This includes an opportunity to talk to current apprentices about their experiences, for representatives from leading companies to discuss their current vacancies and for business support staff to explain the application and recruitment process.

This invitation is aimed at current Year 11-13 students, with a view to starting on an apprenticeship in 2018. There is no need to make an appointment, just turn up at Corinium Avenue, Barnwood, Gloucester, GL4 3HX on 29th January, 4.30pm - 7:30pm.
