Gardenware firm leases Gloucester warehouse

Deroma Spa, a producer and distributor of plants and flowers pots in terracotta, plastic and ceramics has leased 44,000 sq ft of space in Gloucester.

The business has taken a five-year lease at 14 Mill Pace, Bristol Road in Gloucester and said the move will help facilitate continued expansion plans for the business.

Previously based at a unit on Quedgeley Trading Estate, Deroma were forced to vacate the site to make way for the next phase of the new St Modwen Park Gloucester.

Agents Cushman & Wakefield agreed the deal on behalf of the landlord, Robert Hitchins whilst Deroma represented themselves.

Ed Rohleder, senior surveyor in Cushman & Wakefield's Logistics & Industrial team, said: "We are very happy to have secured the letting of 14 Mill Place to Deroma.

"Given the tight timescales involved in vacating their existing industrial unit in Quedgeley we were able to expedite the deal so not to affect their trading. We are pleased to have assisted our client Robert Hitchins and to continue our long standing working relationship with them."
