Furniture retailer to launch Next concession

Online furniture, Made.com, is to open an in-store concession in Next later this year.

The retail giant will open the concession at its Sheffield Meadowhall shopping centre store in December, as reported by Retail Gazette.

Next, which has stores in Gloucester and Cheltenham, snapped up Made.com's brand, domain names and intellectual property for £3.4m last year, after it went into administration.

But the furniture retailer said it intends to keep its brand identity separate from Next and was looking at expansion options for the future, including brand partnerships, an external store and a return to Europe in 2024.

Next already has a number of concessions in its stores, including Victoria's Secret and Lipsy.
