Freeman Homes wins Best Small Housebuilder Award

Forest of Dean property developer Freeman Homes has won Best Small Housebuilder (silver) in the 2017 WhatHouse? Awards.

In its 36th year, the WhatHouse? Awards is the largest and most prestigious awards event in the UK housebuilding industry.

The judges gave the second-generation family business glowing feedback commenting that Freeman Homes has: "An unswerving commitment to quality of product - no corners cut, with local materials in the mix and local reputation on the line. Its sales and marketing is both strategic and innovative and "personal development of staff is also integral to the success and growth of the business."

The judges added: "There is an energy and authenticity about this builder that radiates through its work."

Rupert Bates, editorial director of What House Digital and Show House magazine praised the winners: "You are a credit to the housebuilding industry and should be immensely proud of your achievements."

Luke Freeman, joint chief executive of the MF Freeman Group said: "We're delighted to have received the silver WhatHouse? Award for Best Small Housebuilder. We are committed to building high-quality individual homes and we pride ourselves in using the finest materials sourced from local suppliers. We invest in our staff and in their professional development and we are always looking for ways to improve the way we do things. We're delighted that the judges have acknowledged our innovative building style and our attention to detail."

This is the third award in a month for Freeman Homes, which has already won Best Residential Development (five stars) in the UK Property Awards 2017/18, and Best Small New Housing Development (West of England) in the LABC Excellence Awards 2017.
