Four men charged in connection with shoplifting in Tewkesbury

Four men have been charged in connection with an incident of shoplifting in Tewkesbury last week.

On Friday (3 July), Ian Bannister 67 and of Zinnia Close in Churchdown, James Patrick Williams 36 and of Coriander Drive in Churchdown, Wesley Bowen 41 and of Gloucester Road in Staverton and David Sullivan 33 and also of Coriander Drive in Churchdown were charged with theft from a shop.

The men were released on police bail to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates Court' on Thursday 6 August.

The charges relate to an incident on Ashchurch Road last Thursday evening (2 July) where shoplifting was reported at a petrol station and a quantity of alcohol and food was recovered.
