A new investment management and corporate advisory business is opening in the west country.

Seneca Partners is an award-winning SME investment and advisory business with extensive experience in the sector after forming in the north west in 2010.

They are now branching out into the South West market with Bob Holt OBE at the helm of the new branch.

Holt is a director of Seneca and former chairman of Mears Group and specialises in advising SMEs on all aspects of business, including corporate advice, debt and equity funding, reorganisation and sale.

Announcing the venture at the launch of the Circle2Sucess and Crowe NED-Investor-Business drinks lass week, Holt said he will concentrate his time on equity funding and work with local professionals.

"I am very excited to be bringing Seneca to the West County," he said.

"I will personally head up the business and I look forward to working with Circle2Success to promote the great businesses in the region and the people who run them."

Suzanne Hall-Gibbins from Circle2Sucess said, "We have known Bob for several years and he has been a good friend of Circle2Success and a great sounding board.

"We have run Angela Investor sessions in London with Bob and are very excited about being able to offer another opportunity more locally with the other offers we have."
