Former Chief Fire Officer due in court next week

Stewart Edgar, 53, is due to appear at Birmingham Crown Court.

A former Chief Fire Officer is due to appear in court next week to stand trial for one count of fraud by abuse of position.

Stewart Edgar, 53 and of Braehead Drive, Carnoustie, Angus in Scotland is due to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on Monday 11 October.

The charge relates to the alleged sale of a Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service Land Rover in April 2018.
