Former apprentices celebrate their qualification

Former electrical and business administration apprentices with Clarkson Evans celebrated achieving their qualifications at the firm's Apprenticeship Presentation Evening.
Comedian Justin Moorhouse congratulated the 26 apprentices, who had recently completed their training, and handed out awards at the event at Hatherley Manor Hotel.
Nathan Evans, managing director of Clarkson Evans, said: "As a former Clarkson Evans apprentice myself, I know first-hand how hard our staff work to qualify as electricians. Inviting each "graduating" apprentice to the stage to collect their award and witnessing them enjoying their moment in the spotlight makes me feel extremely proud.
"This awards evening also saw two of our former business administration apprentices celebrate their qualification and I'm delighted to say both have moved into permanent roles in our commercial and training teams."
Former Newent Community School student, now qualified electrician, Dominic Tye said: "I've looked forward to this night throughout my training. I've really grown up during my apprenticeship and I'm much more mature and independent now. I know I've got a bright future ahead of me as an electrician and I'm really grateful to Clarkson Evans."
Clarkson Evans has over 850 staff and takes on apprentices across its network of 18 branches. It is currently recruiting its latest batch of apprentices.
