Firearms recovered and arrests made following searches in Gloucester

Two firearms were recovered, and four men have been arrested following searches at a property in the Tredworth area of Gloucester on Tuesday evening (November 16).
The searches took place shortly after 8.45pm and the weapons were recovered as well as ammunition and a small quantity of drugs.
The firearms were found hidden in the garden before being recovered by Scenes of Crimes officers whilst the ammunition and drugs were found inside the property
The men, who are aged 21, 24, 34 and 42, were arrested on suspicion of being in possession of firearms and of class B drugs. They remain in police custody today (November 17).
Searches are due to continue and the firearms will be forensically examined.
