Financial services company boosts council coffers

Cheltenham Borough Council has let a large office space to a financial services company.

PayItMonthly, a FinTech company working in retail finance, has secured 6,544sq ft of office space at Ellenborough House on Wellington Street in the centre of Cheltenham.

The £23 per sq ft rent should provide a welcome boost to the council's coffers.

The five-storey building is currently undergoing extensive contemporary refurbishment to the main entrance reception and the communal toilets on each floor.

The council has four buildings available to let and one for sale to external businesses and organisations. It is also offering negotiable leases on King George V Playing Field and Pavilion, suitable for local sports teams.
