Final few European funded training places before Brexit

As Brexit looms ever closer, a Gloucestershire training company has put out a final call for the last few opportunities to take advantage of European funding before we quit the EU.

HR and Management Training Company, HR Champions have been operating a programme of fully funded training over the last two years in Gloucestershire, but now that funding is coming to an end and the last few free places are up for grabs.

With money from the European Social fund, over 100 Gloucestershire Businesses have benefited over the past two years from entirely free training with nearly 750 employees undergoing leadership, management and team skills training. But the funding contract is now coming to end with no further funding for training planned for the county.

Director of HR Champions, Kieran O'Donoghue (pictured) said, "This has been a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to upskill their employees, all with money from the EU. We've tried to get as many local businesses as possible involved over the past two years to help drive their success and thereby the overall economic success of the county.

"As the funding contract comes to an end, we have a few final pots of money to allocate. Once the funding finishes, there isn't any more of this kind scheduled for the county so it would be a real shame if any of the money goes to waste; particularly as it comes from the EU and this will be our last chance to get anything from Europe.

"With just weeks remaining to use up the funding, we're limited on which courses we can offer but we have an excellent four-day Level 2 Leadership and Teams skills course for new or aspiring Supervisors and Team Leaders. We can also offer a two-day Level 2 Team Member Skills course for companies with teams of 10 or more. This is an excellent team-building programme to aid and enhance overall team performance.

All of our courses are accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management so delegates will come away with a recognised qualification too."

Just about any business with a premises in Gloucestershire will be eligible for the funding so if you'd like to take advantage, get in touch with HR Champions on 01452 331331 or email them at funding@hrchampions.co.uk
