Figures adding up for Gloucestershire firm in merger

Abacus Money Management has agreed a deal to buy a South West financial management company.

The deal for Weston-super-Mare firm Westcliff Financial is for an undisclosed amount but it is believed Abacus will add £33million in funds under management.

Abacus, which has offices in Tewkesbury and Clevedon, specialises in financial planning and high net worth invest management.

Managing director Noel Greaves said: "This is an excellent opportunity for us. There are many synergies in how we deliver business, putting clients first.

"We are well located geographically to continue delivering an excellent service to Westcliff's clients."
