Lister still on side for Forest Green Rovers

They might be going down after a disappointing season, but for state-of-the-art comms it will not be a case of 'over and out' for Forest Green Rovers.

Fresh from relegation in the English Football League's League One, the Nailsworth-based club has just renewed its long-standing partnership with Stonehouse-based Lister Unified Communications, the telecom and cloud solutions business run by Rob and Tom Lister which employs 26 people from its Brunel Way HQ.

Paula Brown, head of commercial at FGR, said: "Lister Unified Communications are key in helping staff and stewards connect on a matchday," adding that the agreement promised "some interesting campaigns in the pipeline".

By providing FGR staff with Ofcom fully-licensed radios on matchdays, Lister will ensure everybody at the club stays connected from our security staff to catering team, she added.

Simon Gardner, Sales Manager at Lister Unified Communication, said: "We are delighted and proud to extend our partnership with FGR, which has now been going on for over 12 years.

"As a company, we share the same values as the club and we also both strongly believe in benefitting the wider community. We are very proud of our partnership with FGR and long may it continue."

The renewed deal comes in the wake of further sponsor agreements with the club, including multi-award winning plant-based sandwich maker The Real Wrap, who operate from Avonmouth and Aylesbury and who bagged a Business Leaders award for the most Sustainable Business in 2022.
