Fatal collision in Westonbirt

The road remains closed while police carry out their investigation.

Police are appealing for information following a fatal collision on the A433 outside the entrance of Westonbirt Arboretum, Tetbury on Wednesday morning (November 17).

Emergency services were called to a single-vehicle collision shortly after 5am.

One person was declared dead at the scene. The next of kin and the coroner have been informed.

Officers remain at the scene and the road will remain closed for several hours while they carry out investigations.

They would like to speak to anyone with dash cam footage or who witnessed anything leading up to the collision and has not already spoken to police.
