Gloucester-based Fasthosts Internet Ltd has announced it is adding Managed Stacks and Applications to its virtualised technology portfolio, CloudNX

Following last year's successful launch of CloudNX servers, leading web hosting provider Fasthosts has built on this next-generation cloud platform to introduce a new range of virtualised services. Customers now have even more options when it comes to cloud computing for their business:

• Root Servers give users complete control to build and maintain their own unique cloud hosting environment.
• Managed Stacks are custom software bundles that include everything a web project needs to run on the CloudNX platform. To start coding, the user simply selects their preferred database, web server and scripting language, while Fasthosts takes care of the operating system, software updates and security.
• CloudNX provides content management systems including WordPress, Drupal and Joomla, pre-installed and ready to use. Fasthosts handles the infrastructure, leaving the user with more time to focus on their content.
