Fairfax & Favor to open new store in the Cotswolds

Country footwear and accessories brand Fairfax & Favor is bucking the decline in high street retail by opening a new store in the Cotswolds.

The company is due to open its fourth store in Digbeth Street, Stow-on-the-Wold, on Saturday, October 8.

Fairfax & Favor says that amidst the decline in retail stores, it has has experienced unprecedented growth and opened three stores - at Holt, Stamford and Helmsley.- in the last three years.

Fairfax & Favor chose Stow as the location for their fourth bricks-and-mortar store as they have always had a great reception when doing shows and festivals in the area - from Cheltenham Festival to Blenheim Horse Trials or Daylesford Christmas Fayre.

Felix Favor Parker, co-founder of Fairfax & Favor, said: "We are so excited to be opening the fourth Fairfax and Favor store in the beautiful market town of Stow-on-the-Wold. Situated in the heart of the Cotswolds, our store has had an extensive refurbishment and we look forward to welcoming our wonderful customers when we open.."

The store design is inspired by the local church which famously is seen with trees growing up and around the doors. Fairfax & Favor's team have replicated this feature in the shop as a nod to the local area.

The team look forward to welcoming customers and offer both walk-in and private styling appointments. They will also be offering a birthday appointment package where customers will receive a cake, champagne and a gift from the brand and even a birthday balloon to walk away with.
