Staff at property agency Cook Residential are pulling on their neon gear and putting their best feet (and paws!) forward for a 10k night hike in support of Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice.
Their office mascot, a Havanese called Dexter, will be leading the pack as the team take on the Starlight Hike, raising vital funds for the hospice which is home to the only inpatient care unit in Gloucestershire.
Staff are aiming to raise £500 for the charity, which could pay for a bed for a day of inpatient care there.
Michelle Cook, director, said: "I am proud to support such a fantastic local charity which provides much-needed care. The care Sue Ryder provides to individuals and their family is inspiring, and we are immensely proud to support their work."
Matt Reay, fundraising events officer at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice said: "Every donation helps us continue to be there for local families at a time they need support most. As a charity, we can't provide our care without the vital fundraising support of local people and businesses like Cook Residential.
"We're really looking forward to welcoming the team and Dexter on the night, along with hundreds of others who will be all be shining bright and enjoying a great night out with a difference."
Starlight Hike, sponsored by Capita, takes place on Saturday 21st October. Hundreds of hikers set out on 10k the walk with a big party atmosphere from 9pm. Registration is still possible on the night from 7pm at St Edwards Prep School, Charlton Kings.
