Empty offices converted in to new apartments

An abandoned office building overlooking a prominent junction near the centre of Cheltenham is to be regenerated as high quality apartments.
West builders Helm Construction will complete the conversion scheme at Oriel House on behalf of developer Telereal.
The 40 week project kicks off next month, converting the office block on the corner of Cheltenham's Oriel Road and Vittoria Walk to 14 new apartments including insulated external render and replacement windows.
Helm Construction site manager Kevin Davies said the scheme was the biggest contract the firm had won in Cheltenham.
"Oriel House is a five-floor office building
formerly used by a telecoms company and is close to the prime retail areas in the Promenade. Like many of the older office stock in Cheltenham, it is particularly well suited for conversion for residential use," he said.
Helm Construction has established a reputation for building on brownfield sites, regenerating property, gardens and even car parks to create high quality homes.
