eBay launches Imperfects range

Online giant eBay is launching a new Imperfects range, in a bid to cut fashion waste.
The range includes clothes, accessories and shoes which are brand new, but with slight defects, from over 100 high street and high-end brands, including North Face, Timberland, Puma and Fila, at up to 60 per cent off, as reported by Retail Gazette.
The products on sale include ex-display items and those with small imperfections, such as a loose thread or missing button, which can't be sold at full price as they didn't meet strict quality standards.
eBay said all imperfections are clearly stated in the listing, and photos will show customers exactly what they are getting. Imperfects also come with free delivery and 30 day returns, as well a money back guarantee.
New data from eBay shows that shoppers are becoming more conscious of both being kind to the planet and saving money - with searches for 'preloved clothes' nine times higher than last year and searches for 'used dress' up by 156 per cent.
The new range launches this week to mark Earth Day tomorrow (April 22). It will help prevent thousands of good quality fashion items from going straight to landfill.
