Disused lorry set on fire in Cinderford

Police are appealing for information after a disused lorry was set on fire in Cinderford earlier Tuesday afternoon, (August 3).

Emergency Services were contacted at 2pm with a report that a lorry had been set alight at an industrial estate on Boseley Way.

The disused lorry was located within a derelict waste ground and the fire has now been extinguished.

Witnesses reported seeing a group of teenagers in the area shortly before the fire was started and officers are now working to identify those involved.

The incident is currently being treated as an arson and anyone who was in the area and witnessed suspicious activity or has information on what happened is asked to please get in contact.
