Discover the joys of volunteering at Snowshill Manor

Snowshill Manor, the National Trust property near Broadway, is hosting two drop-in mornings for new volunteers.

They will take place on Wednesday 8 February and Sunday 12 February between 10am and 1pm and there will also be a virtual session between 2pm and 3pm on Thursday 9 February.

Discover what being a National Trust volunteer is all about and have an informal chat with staff and volunteers.

There are a variety of volunteer roles available including working with the garden team, sharing the stories of Snowshill with visitors or supporting the team in the cafe.

Hayley Gaisford-Gotto, general manager at Snowshill Manor, said: "Our volunteers are very precious to us, and we couldn't open for visitors without them.

"If you're interested, don't worry about what role you may or may not be able to do. All you need is a friendly smile and a desire to want to help our visitors enjoy their day.

"Once we understand what your interests and skills are, and how much time you have to offer, we can find a role to suit you."

There's no need to book the drop-in morning sessions in advance, simply come in anytime between 10am and 1pm to find out more, meet the team and see how you can get involved.

If you want to let the team know you are coming, find out more about what's happening on the day or have any questions that you would like to ask, please call 01386 842814.

If you'd like to attend the virtual session on Thursday 9 February, please email snowshillmanor@nationaltrust.org.uk  to be sent a link to join the virtual session.

Please note that parking is available in the National Trust car park. If the weather looks very wintry, please check the website before travelling for up to date information.
