Custody extension granted for man arrested in connection with Stonehouse death

Police have been granted a court extension to continue questioning a man arrested on suspicion of murder.

The 53-year-old from Cheltenham will now remain in police custody for an additional 36 hours following his arrest in connection with the death of a woman in Stonehouse.

Officers from the Major Crime Investigation Team are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death and anyone with information which could assist is asked to contact police.
