Crowe announces Cheltenham partner promotion

National audit, tax, advisory and risk firm Crowe has announced the promotion of a director in its Cheltenham office to partner.

Stuart Buglas joins the partnership to lead the firm's HR advisory team, after initially joining the Cheltenham office in 2018.

Mr Buglas is said to have has amassed more than 20 years of relevant HR consultancy experience to date, including at leading consultancies and in-house as a HR consultant for Lloyds TSB, where he supported the head office and branch network.

Crowe said the promotion underlines its commitment to providing a market-leading HR service.

Nigel Bostock, chief executive of Crowe UK, said: "It is with great pleasure that we welcome Stuart to the partnership. He is a key asset to the HR team and brings a wealth of experience to the role.

"It is fantastic to see yet another partner promotion coming from within the firm, emphasising both our recent growth and our commitment to developing our own people as they progress in their careers. I look forward to the continued value he will bring for our clients in his new role as a partner."

Stuart Buglass, partner in HR advisory, added: "I am thrilled by this promotion and the opportunity to continue growing and contributing to Crowe's market leading HR advisory practice.

"These issues are increasingly becoming a priority for businesses, particularly as a new generation of employees has reset the psychological contract with employers with heightened expectations and motivations.

"The landscape continues to change, and I look forward to helping our clients to overcome the new challenges presented around recruitment, retention and new working patterns, which have presented themselves in recent months."
