Court proceeding for Gloucestershire businessmen who built back garden leisure centre

Court proceedings have been issued against a Forest of Dean man for failing to comply with the district council's Enforcement Notice, which required the removal of a sports and leisure complex from his land in Cinderford.

Forest of Dean District Council has applied for an injunction requiring Graham Wildin of Meendhurst Road, Cinderford to comply with the Enforcement Notice and demolish the unauthorised building. The luxury leisure centre includes a bowling alley and casino.

Mr Wildin has failed to comply with the notice that gave him until 7th July 2017, to remove the building at 24B Meendhurst Road, Cinderford. His retrospective planning application was refused on 24th February 2017.

The case will be heard in the High Court in Cardiff during a two day trial on 20th and 21st September 2018.
