Hundreds of Gloucestershire school students were today given a taste of the exciting careers that await them in the future.
The innovative event, Stroud Ambitions- Careers for Everyone , was hosted by South Gloucestershire and Stroud College (SGS College) and Stroud District Council at Stratford Park Leisure Centre.
The annual event has evolved to become more collaborative, interactive and enjoyed by all those taking part.
The aim is to provide students and parent/carers with a more informed choice on their careers and progression options, supported and endorsed by schools, local businesses and sponsors.
Today's events included interactive workshops for up to 1,000 students from ten secondary schools in the Stroud district and surrounding areas.
Amongst those holding workshops was the Editor of PunchlineGloucester.com and managing director of Moose Marketing and PR, Mark Owen, together with the agency's apprentice Bethany Winter.
Mark said: "Young people are this country's future and it is great to see so many taking part in Stroud Ambitions where interaction is key to the success of this fantastic event. We are delighted to support Stroud Ambitions and the important work it is doing to encourage our young entrepreneurs."
