Affordable homes coming to Dudbridge, Stroud

Countryside Partnerships has completed the acquisition of land at Dudbridge Hill in a residential area in Stroud, Gloucestershire, where it is set to create a development of 55 affordable homes in partnership with Bromford. The site benefits from full planning consent, and construction is set to commence in the coming months.

The development will comprise a mix of traditional houses and several apartments within two designated apartment blocks. All the homes will be delivered as affordable housing, which exceeds local planning policy requirements.

Darren Dancey, managing director of Countryside Partnerships West, commented: "We are thrilled to be moving forward with our plans to bring 55 much-needed affordable homes to Dudbridge Hill in Stroud. It is a pleasure to continue working with our affordable housing partner Bromford on this development, which will have a real, positive impact on the local community."

This latest acquisition marks a further positive step for Countryside Partnerships' ambitious development plans in the region. The developer recently celebrated the launch of Lyneham Fields in Wiltshire, and Isleport Grove in Highbridge, whilst it is also set to open the doors to its Strawberry Grange scheme in Bridgwater this August.

In partnership with housing associations, public bodies, landowners and institutional private rental operators, Countryside Partnerships delivers multiple tenures, including affordable homes, build-to-rent

homes and homes for private sale. Countryside Partnerships is part of Vistry Group PLC which also includes Vistry Housebuilding, and housing brands Bovis Homes and Linden Homes.
